Do you have an existing BDO Savings or Credit Card Account? Do you want to enroll it in BDO Online Banking?
Although it’s optional, BDO Unibank highly recommends that BDO account holders register in BDO Online Banking because it offers a lot of good features that will make your online banking transactions easier, faster, and convenient.
When you’re enrolled in BDO online, you can check your account balance anytime, you can transfer funds to other BDO accounts, and you can pay your bills wherever you are as long as you have internet connection to access the BDO website or your BDO mobile banking app.
Not only can you save money, you also save time when you do your banking transactions using the BDO internet banking facility.
But first, you need to enroll or register your BDO savings account or credit card online and activate it at the ATM machine to be able to do your online transactions.

How to Enroll in BDO Online Banking
Here are the steps for BDO Online Banking Enrollment:
Step 1 – BDO Website
- Go to https://www.bdo.com.ph.
- Hover your mouse pointer to Online Banking Login (blue).
- Click BDO Online Banking (orange).
Step 2 – Enroll Button
- In the BDO login box, click Not Yet Enrolled? Enroll Now!
Step 3 – Terms and Conditions
- Read the Electronic Banking Terms and Conditions of Use. Right below it, tick the box to acknowledge that you have read, fully understood and agreed with the Terms and Conditions. Then click Submit.
Step 4 – Enrollment Form
Fill out the BDO Online Banking Enrollment Form
- Select The Type Of Account To Enroll – whether it’s credit card or deposit account
- Note: Only the following accounts are allowed for initial enrollment:
- Individual or Joint “OR” ATM-based Savings or Current Account
- Credit Card (Principal Card)
- Other BDO accounts like Time Deposits, Cash Card, Consumer Loans and Trust Accounts may be enrolled as additional accounts once you have activated your Online Banking.
- Note: Only the following accounts are allowed for initial enrollment:
- Select where you are enrolling from – whether within the Philippines or outside the Philippines
- Select Channels For Enrollment – online banking, phone banking, or SMS banking (you can choose all 3 if you like, but in this tutorial we’ll choose online banking only)
- Input Your Account Information – your ATM Card Number and Preferred Nickname
- Note: For clients enrolling in the Philippines, an ATM card is required. If you do not have an ATM card, please visit your branch to request for one.
- Nominate your Online Banking Information – User ID, Password, Mobile Number, and Email Address
- Note: User ID must be at least 7 alphanumeric characters
- Note: Password must be contain uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character. It must not be the same as the User ID.
- Note: Mobile number should be in this format 639xxxxxxxxx and it must be valid, active and still in your possession since this is where your OTP or One-Time Password will be sent.
- Nominate Your Challenge Questions – 2 challenge questions with answers
- Validate your BDO internet banking enrollment – enter the code shown in the image box
- Select where you learn about BDO internet banking – select from one of the options in the drop down menu.
- Review the information you entered in the form, then click Submit.
Step 5 – Acknowledgment Page
The BDO Non-Overseas Initial Enrollment Acknowledgment Page will appear on the screen with all your BDO Online Banking Enrollment details including your Reference Number, Activation Code and the activation instructions.
An email confirmation which contains the ATM activation code will also be sent to your registered email address.

How to Activate BDO Online Banking
Here are the steps for BDO Online Banking Activation:
- Go to any BDO ATM Machine
- Insert your BDO ATM Card
- Select “Other Services”
- Select “Activate Electronic Banking”
- Enter the ATM Activation Code
- Enter your ATM PIN
Please take note that you can activate your BDO Online Banking enrollment within 45 days from the date of your enrollment. If you missed the deadline, then you may have to repeat the enrollment process.
Once your BDO Online account is activated, you may now start using the BDO online facilities such as BDO balance inquiry, bills payment, and fund transfer.

How to Enroll in BDO Phone Banking and SMS Banking
When you enroll in BDO Online Banking, you also have the option to enroll in BDO Phone Banking and SMS Banking as well.
Phone Banking
- User ID must be 10 numeric characters
- Telephone PIN must be 6 numeric characters
- Don’t use your birth date as password.
SMS Banking
- Mobile Network – Smart/TalkNText
- Mobile Banking User ID – your 11-digit mobile number
- Mobile Pin (m-PIN) must be 6 numeric characters
- Don’t use your birth date as password.
- An ATM card is required for this request. Please enroll an ATM-based Current or Savings Account in Online Banking.
Again, enrollment in BDO Phone Banking and SMS Banking is optional. You can still proceed with your BDO Internet Banking Enrollment even if you don’t tick the boxes for these two additional enrollments.

- Go to BDO website. In the login box, look for “Account is Locked” and click it. Then, enter your User ID. An OTP or One-Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number. Once you received it, type it in the OTP box to proceed with your BDO account reset.
How to do BDO Balance Inquiry?
- Login to your BDO online account, enter your OTP or answer the challenge question. Once successfully logged in, you’ll be able to see your account balance on the screen. This is how you do BDO Balance Inquiry online which is way easier and more convenient than going to the BDO ATM machine.
